It has been three months since I last updated my website. I'm sorry it has taken so long to add new stuff but it's been a crazy three months as you will see below. I started out my third trimester at Cleveland Chiropractic College KC by missing the first 3 days in order to go on yet another Axis Deer/Black Buck Hunt in Sonora Texas . This year I was blessed to harvest a beautiful Blackbuck Antelope as well as two young Axis Deer for meat. I rounded that trip up by flying to Philadelphia with Dr. Peterson to shoot a commercial with the Phillies' Jayson Werth. Jayson has been a patient of Doc's for some time and wanted to share with the people of Tulsa how Dr. Peterson had given him a second shot at the Major Leagues by fixing his wrist with Active Release Technique (a soft tissue mobilization method that I am currently being certified in.) My first spring in Kansas was just what I expected with weekly tornadoes and freak lightning strikes. Ali and I and some friends made it up to St. Louis twice over this past trimester to watch Jayson and the Phillies take on the Cardinals. Things slowed down for a bit but then we had my 26th birthday party in Edmond , OK on the 4th of July which brought many great surprises. We followed that up the next weekend with the first ever "Barnezy Olympics" which consisted of friends, food and backyard games. Ali and I attended the wedding of Kacey and Taylor Gilpin in Tulsa . This wedding was a blessing to many and a great time for us to catch up with old friends. Ali enjoyed her first summer vacation from teaching with the highlight being a 10 day vacation to Estes Park , CO to stay with her maid of honor Joy, followed by a week in Jackson Hole , WY with her family. During this time I realized that many of the things that magically happened around our home such as silverware replenishing and laundry reappearing clean in my drawer were suddenly inoperable. I took a ton of photos this spring as you can see. I shot a couples engagement photos as well as my first wedding with digital. I will be shooting another wedding in one weeks time which looks to be one of the most fun weddings I've ever been a part of. I have taken another step in my videography hobby by selling my trusty Sony HVR-V1U 1080i video camera in favor of a larger Sony HVR-V1U 1080p with 3CMOS chips instead of one. Overall this has been a fantastic spring/summer, but I'm moving on to the fall by starting my 4th trimester at CCC KC in one short week. I'm also coaching 8th grade football at Campbell Middle School in Lee's Summit . Those poor kids! We're looking forward to another amazing fall in Overland Park , KS and hope that the rest of you have a great time as well. Hopefully I'll be able to update my website sometime in October instead of over Christmas Break. May God bless you all this fall and stay safe while traveling to all of those football games.
